Hi everyone, I decided today to play Dino Crisis which I played before without any problems, but to my surprise I found that there is no sound from the very beginning, I mean I read a lot of threads about this game sound issues but all of them were talking about the sound being glitchy in a specific place and specific moment in the game, but my problem is when the first in game cut scene plays the sounds cut off, I even looked for walkthroughs of this game in Youtube and they didn't have any problems.
My problem starts at 5.18 "which is fine in this video".

Any help would be appreciated.

I played 30 min, until the first save, opened the game by .cue file, without any problem.

the video presented has better picture quality than the option I'm using, I have the habit of playing 1x.

I use and recommend the settings below for ePSXe because they are safe:

Note: In the case of games that the backup/ripping process produces multi-bin files, (a) do not change the name of the files, (b) always open the game through the .cue file, and (c) always compare the hashes of the files with the hashes published on the redump site.

EDIT: if you change the suggested default settings to:
Code:
Config, Plugins, Video, Configure, Internal Resolution : 2: Resolution x2
Config, Plugins, Video, Configure, Blit mode.......... : 2: OpenGLv2
Config, Plugins, Video, Configure, Filter for 2D games : 99: Custom
and click at the "..." button and choose: "4xGLSoft Lite (gpuCore)"*

you will have a similar result to video with low performance impact, at least in this game. unfortunately these changes are not compatible with all games or all hardware - although they are extremely lightweight for a new PC.
