Yeah I like Strategy RPG's and menu RPG's equally and adventure and mouse third. My favorite strategies are Final Fantasy Tactics (of course) and Tactics Ogre for PS1. Oh and how about Ogre Battle March of the Black Queen. Awesome.

Is this Tactics Ogre game cool??? (I've never heard of)
How is this game??

Long live the RPGs

Hello everyone.
I like any kind of RPG. But I prefer the menu/selection style (ex. Final Fantasy series, Xenogear, Wild Arms 1 & 2 etc.). I think the others are also good like Alundra 1 & 2. How about the PC RPGs like Septerra Core and Fallout series? In my opinion, I think the eastern RPGs are more enjoyable to play and have higher replay value. I've finished lot of them many times because some of the game make you want to play more (finished Valkyrie Profile three times, great game). Last but not least, anyone into AD&D games? I also find it interesting, already finished all series of Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale. Now looking forward for Neverwinter Night. But too bad for me, I've to gather more money to buy a PS2. Looks like Final Fantasy X would have to wait.

Tactics Ogre is fun. It's basically like Final Fantasy Tactics (for good reason, since the same team made it), just with worse graphics (it DID originally appear on the SNES) and a darker plot.

I like turn-based RPGs like Final Fantasy or Crono Cross. the Zelda Games are nice too but don't have very deep storylines :(
I agree. Zelda 64 is a classic example of a shallow plot. Not that it was a bad game.
I also like all kinds of RPGs although I do prefer turn-based.

Zelda 64? I can't play it for long periods of time, but that has nothing to do with the camera angles...
Yep...I agree...(At least for me...the Camera don't change too much of the game, some Games that the Camera angles sucks are that WCW or WF....Wrestling games...)
But, I'm a Zelda Fan since the first one, for my first Video Game (My NES, that i bought in Canada) .....The only reason that makes me think that i can't play Zelda 64 for too long time, is because I've finished the game 2 or 3 times...)

Jonys, I like Diablo very very much. My friend has beaten it and killed Diablo. I also like it on the PSX. I am also a Gauntlet fan and, in ways, Diablo is very very similar to Gauntlet and Gauntlet 2, but w/much more depth and a more intersting story.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

Finally, I'm relieved, at least, one vote for Diablo option.....
Remembers me the time when used to spend hours in the Web controlling that warrior, trying to get some ears....levels and wepons for my game.....

I've never played Diablo 2......
Sonds like a cool game...I've read some reviews...good graphic...and more characters....I'm looking forward for buying it in christmas.....

Diablo II is just like the first, just with more classes, worse graphics, and a worse plot. As for the PSX version, I like it because, without the possibility of a point and click interface, it's more like a really hard version of Zelda. It makes the rogue especially challenging.
