yeah sure, wonderful stuff, but when the 360 launched there was no competition for it, and yes, it got bashed to hell and back for being launched too early with crappy titles.
Were dealing with late 2006 now, the 360 has a massive lead with games, when people compare the ps3 to the xbox 360 they compare them because both are out at a retail level.
What do you mean 720p at barely 30 fps? GoW runs smoothely at 720p at a solid 30fps, it is then upscaled to 1080p (provided the TV supports it and you have the firmware upgrade for the 360), then comes fall of man, it runs at 30fps solid at 720p, so?
So long as were talking about framerate problems we should be looking at the ps3 btw

Yeah, sure, early in its life, but right now games on the 360 run more smoothely in general.
I'm not sure what you mean, games that will run on the ps3 run at 1080p @ 60fps will be loved by many as great, and ahve been more or less really shown off as cool, yes I'm looking at GTHD, do you think people diss it for running at that HD resolution at that frame rate? They actually praise it for the very same thing.
Look, this is competition were talking about, don't think people will justify the fialings of one system or another and decide to say that doesn't make that system bad, that would be dumb. Microsoft made the decision to launch early and for now it is in fact paying off, are you to say we should ignore the advantages the 360 has over the ps3 at htis point in time because it isn't fair to compare them?
And what the hell is up with HD this or that? Sure it plays a big role in how good a game will look but GoW will look better at 480p than, say, gundam: crossfire at 720p, thats just fact. HD is good, it shows off great when it is used proper like in GTHD and adds that bit of extra realism to the graphics, but it will only do so much.
Really it's all Sony's fault they are getting all this negative press, they trumped up the ps3 as 'true HD' to hell and back, implied crazy things about it, now even when things are a-ok and not terrible news (ie 720p motorstorm which isn't bad by any stretch of the imagination) it backfires like crazy in the PR department.
