I still dont know if i'll get one on european launch day or not :S
Right now my savings are at 330€, i almost bought a PSP the otherday when i gazed at it in the mall. If my friends had call out for me 10 seconds later i would probably be leaving the shop with the PSP lol. So damn tempting when you got the money available.

I realised it says Playstation 3 DVD-rom.... Probably if you have a game that you want to load quickly ( if you place the data at the right place of the DVD ) or just want it to be cheaper to produce it'll have the option to ship the game on Dual-layer DVD like for the XBOX 360, instead of blue-ray.

Yes, the rumors are TRUE! E-Bay and Sony are teaming up to yank all those nifty E-Bay auctions off the net! Already, E-Bay has removed over a dozen since this morning's post, some of which were in the range of $2000 to $4000.

meh, ps3's gonna bomb here in Australia, and yes as clichéd as it sounds, it is the price that will.
I"d like to get one... when its price is quartered, becasue its launching really, really expensive.
So why are people crazy enough to pay so much for it on ebay then?

I read that the PS2 will dominate holiday sales in Australia, because it finally got down to 199 ASD, which is cheap enough for the cheap australian's to buy

Wow, at a faster rate then Xbox360, I'm not surprised that people are willing to pay for PS3's great quality. For me consoles like Wii, only thing I have to say for it is that its cheap. Wii might be good this year, but if you want something that will last long PS3 is the way to go. To me buying Wii is like buying a broken watch over an accurate watch, The broken one being like 2$ while the accurate being about 20$. Would I really buy a broken watch just because its cheaper?

You can actually, i mean probably not with the Wii couse there wont be a major shortage problem, but the same thing happened with the 360. Some sold for $2.5k

I think that NBA 2K7 currently looks terrible on both the PS3 and Xbox 360. NBA Live 07, on the other hand, looks more realistic IMO.

I doubt there is even a contest between the two, have you seen NBA 2k7 screenshots? They are fantastic!
