I read somewhere that both actors are up for doing a sequel and the film did kind of end in a way that could lead to another film.
Yeah, but it doesn't seem like it did very well at the box office... Barely came even. But hopefully we'll see a sequel.

Deadpool

Owned. Owned so hard.

Reynolds was on point and way too hilarious. So eager for the next one.

@Snicko
I'm watching that for Valentine's day. :D
That deserve's a crisp high five!

Seriously, it's the best Valentine's movie ever, the love story in this is surprisingly endearing.

Women's day tho

Deadpool - 9.9/10

Totally worth going to the theaters to see it, as normally I just wait for the disc release.

Ryan Reynolds was awesome in his role and the movie itself proved what idiots they were with Wolverine Origins, this totally gives the finger to that movie... Now I just can't wait for the sequel.

I was really worried the love story would get in the way but they handled it so damn well.

And yeah, women's day... The whole sex montage was just awesome.

Deadpool has really turned heads in terms of metrics.

As an R rated film (US) it has smashed records with a 135 million opening weekend, ranking it number 5 in all of Marvels opening weekends and destroying "50 Shades of Grey". It proves that there is an audience for mature rated films.

It cost a cool 50 million to make, 1/4 of Star Wars VII and is projected to continually dominate over president's day weekend.

I tagged along with my gym buddy and his church group, some very conservative people. The type who cringe at anything sexual or crude. Although they still maintained their distaste for such content, they had so much fun and loved the movie overall. I'm so glad they've green lit the sequel.

Batman vs Superman

I generally love Zack Snyder movies despite him being a bit of a hack, but the script in this is a bit weak and loses out on nuances and motives. At times I found the pacing to be jarring and the balance between establishing shots and plot development lacking and it severely impacts the pacing. Additionally I wasn't fond of Afflecks's Batman, I don't really have anything against the dude, he did rather well at times, but I didn't think he was quite up to the task of what the character needed. There's a ruggedness he's missing out on and he doesn't really carry sorrow that well.

I did enjoy the movie however, I really love Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Henry is amazing as Superman.

The action is fucking sick, brutal and very well shot, Snyder really does go all out on this and it was well worth the price of admission. Batman's sequences were breathtaking.

The script really needed to be more clever I think, overall I really enjoyed it.

Watched it last night Snicko.

I liked the film a lot but like you say the director sometimes went for style vs substance.
I'm a fan of the series but my wife felt a bit bored in the middle.

All chars did a great job, I actually liked Affleck but I didn't like some of his dream sequences.

Didn't think Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) could pull that off, but she did.

With Snyder you can make a poster out of any shot. xd

Anyways I recommend this movie, is a great setup for Justice League.

Having seen Flashpoint Paradox and Justice League War I know what's next but it'll be awesome to watch it on a live film.

Yeah Gal Gadot did amazing. I incorrectly prejudged her, but she owned that role far beyond what I thought she was capable.

I almost forgot, Jeremy Irons was downright sensational as Alfred and my favourite take on the character yet. He gives so much credence to the operations of Batman and as his caretaker.

Showing a friend JL Flashpoint Paradox and JL War this week. He was hyped from this movie and I told him these animations share some elements with the movie universe.

Enemy.

I had to watch it twice. Good movie tough.

The Hunger Games Mocking Jay Part 2. 5/10

Man, this film nearly bored me to sleep, I never really liked the series but since I watched the first film, I watch the rest to get the full story. Part 2 is very lacking they could have just included its content into Part 1, I felt like everyone talks very slowly just so the film could be made into a full length.
