OT: Seen that video ages ago. But it's still good. Sadly, a lot of people are like that over there. But those people are everywhere. Just look at every government running the countries in the "civilized world".
I, too, can edit out the smart people.

People made up religion, people save messed up people; not God. In my opinion, there is no God, only the illusion that there might be. It's the opiate of the people, to keep control and quite honestly, it's doing a good job. Many people think that without religion we wouldn't have wars. No, we just wouldn't have wars over religion. You have to realize that as people, we'll always have problems and point our fingers. Religion is just our choice at the moment.
Without it I think the world would be a lot worse off than it is now.
The general population needs something to believe in. There are many fine people in and not in my family that believe in god, whole-hearted Christians. I believe that it helps their lives to have something to believe in rather than to feel alone their entire life, like I do.
For every Christian's sake in the entire world, I hope it lasts, a population devoid of any hope or faith in anything would drive the world down into an endless depression.
How many people in the world do you think would like to realize that the entire purpose to their life is a sham based on money and control, the only thing they lean on for support is a lie?
That's a lot of suicides I'd rather not see on the news.

Everyone is entitled to believe whatever they want, I was just stating my faith. As I was discussing in bible study tonight, we all *myself included* get caught up in this world, but it is contaminated and temporary. All the things we covet here are merely temporary things, but what God offers us is permanent.
God offers a way out, Salvation through His Son Jesus, who died and rose again to free us from sin, and all we have to do is accept it. If Satan wants this world, well he's getting a lake of fire, I prefer Paradise with my creator.

You mean like promise to spend your life monogamous to a single person? have kids who may hate your guts? take out a loan to go to college or buy a home? to love people who may return your love with hatred? to be merciful and compassionate to your enemies?
Yeah religion makes people do strange stuff.
Everything in this world will at times fail you, your skills, talents, family, friends, lovers, , government, money, everything but God. If you have faith in him, you will survive the worst storms, have faith in anything else and you will regret it.

Science doesn't function that way. The burden of proof is on those making the claim to prove it, not on everyone else to disprove it.
Monogomy is common throughout nature and has nothing to do with religion. Athiests are as monogomous as anyone else.
This is life, not faith.
Altruism is common in social animals and, again, has nothing to do with religion. It has a very specific purpose in nature. "I'll be good to you so you'll hopefully reciprocate."
However, religion is responsible for countless wars, oppression, and bigotry. Some of the worst things humanity has ever done it's done in religion's name. You don't see many athiests behaving this way.
More sentimental crap. Repeating it doesn't make it so. Evidence or gtfo.

But seriously, I believe there is a god, and only one god, and for the atheists to ask
how did god was created, is actually a logical paradox, since nobody can create the creater..
If you follow the chain of creation, your mom created you, her parents created her,
who came first the egg or the hen, there is the missing link, which, any sane person
will eventually believe there is a creator, (now who is creator? that differs in each
religion)
To talk about evolution theory which was proven it was wrong, and about some mysterious natural
event happened billions of years ago that formed an amenic dna strings then a cell, this is a total J-A-C-K-S-H-I-T-!
Two analogies to describe this:
Put a monkey in front a type writer for three billion years (assuming the monkey will live that long).
If he could write a meaningful poem, then I'd believe that he was your father.
Grab a pocket full of lego letters, throw the pocket's contents, if it becomes one understandable sentence
(not to mention a string of amenic dna that created life), and keep trying indefinitely) then you can call me Nancy boy.
