& yeah I tend to run most games at that res.

 

1280x960, so it's correctly 4:3

 

soz coudnt put every res on there just put the onses i thought were used mainly

 

1280x960 is quite common...

 

1024*768... not that my Monitor (dating since 1997) could stand something bigger than that...

 

I use that for my desktop. For games, I run normally at the same resolution, newest games I have to go all the way down to 1024x768... and games as old as NeverWinter Nights go at 1600x1200.

I use 1152x864 for desktop, and I crank it up to 1280x1024 when playing most games.

I use 1280x960 for my 19"
And I also use 1280x768 for my Widescreen 52"

 

1024x768. My monitor goes up to 1280x1024, but only at 60hz, which I can't manange. I get headaches after about an hour. :/

soz but i coudnt decide if it was hardware software etc... anyway im running at 1600 by 1200 and it looks like im the only one at a refreshing 85hz can go to the one above 1600 by 1200 in my list but at 75hz.

So I don't get odd aspect ratio or black lines in videos. My monitor is 4:3 and I like everything to be in the correct aspect ratio.

 

1280x1024 here

 

1024x768 @ 85Hz, thats the best my monitor can manage before it drops to 60hz which is just painful.

 

I set my Desktop resolution to 800x600 it can go much higher but i dont like the way the higher resolutions look on this 17 inch monitor

 

I use 1280*1024 since i have a 19" monitor.
