I use a Yaroze BIOS. There are compatibility benefits (afaik), but no performance gain/loss.

 

Legend of Dragoon aparently needs the 7502 BIOS. I use the 1001 BIOS as the is the one from my PSX

 

1000 Bios, Have had it forever and never had a problem with it.

 

Really? I tried to run a 1000 bios, never even saw the sony splash screen.

 

Like Lord Kane said , 7502 because of Legend of dragoon - i just love that game (RPG addict .. ) .

Other than that , the 1001 (or 1002 ? ) from my PSone ..

 

scph1000.bin crashes epsxe on my computer.
i like dtlh3002 because it shows the oldstyle memcard menu (like my 5 year old dead psx). btw what's the bios of the PSone console? (not the psx, but the "new" little PSone)

 

i use one of the suggested bios in epsxe - SCPH 1001
i never had problems booting up Lod using 1001.

7502 and 1001. Just like Xeven. Mainly the 7502 though.
1001 is reccomended by the ePSXe team first and 7502 second.

7502 seems to work better with PAL games (some PAL games didn´t work with 1001 with my configuration).
So I prefer 7502.

SCPH7502. I seemed to have problem with SCPH1000 -JAP with Jet Moto 2, but I used this bios and it works fine now

use 1001 and when i play LoD i use 7502

 

Yaroze BIOS, never had any probs with it....only that the bios only loads if i have a cd in the cd-rom drive....but that also happens with the other bios...

 

Hmmm, I can boot DTLH-3000 and 3002 just fine without a game.

 

DTLH = Yaroze?

anyways, I use sphc1001, and works just great.

Maybe DTLH works better with running demos
