There's no one way to do it this as it is very much game specific.

If a game has unlocked frame rate it just doesn't reach stable 60 FPS you can use the overclocking feature under emulation settings to improve performance and get better FPS.

For games that are locked to 30 FPS you have to look up 60 fps cheat or a patch for that specific game and apply it, then you'll still need to use the overclocking feature to improve performance and reach that 60 FPS.

Fair warming said overclocking feature can improve FPS in any game to get stable 30 or 60 FPS but it can very much break the game as the game was not intended to run on overclocked ps1.

PS.
The video could always be fake, you can make any video to look like it's playing at 60 FPS by just altering the video with interpolation.

It's just a slider 100% being the default the higher you set it the better performance you'll get but it will be more demanding on your PC and like I said it can break your game so you can't just max it out.

As for what's the best setting again it depends on the game in question, some games don't need overclocking at all like Spyro the dragon so it would be a waste of performance, others may need to be overclocked way high like Chrono Cross to get 60fps in all cases.

You'll just have to play the game keep an eye on the frame rate and adjust overclocking as needed to see if it helps or breaks the game.

That's the most common thing that overclock breaks dial it down or turn off when using memory cards, you can setup a hotkey for that

i get as well when setting to vulkan failed to install vulkan render falling back to software render duckstation
That has nothing to do with overclock more of a issue with your graphic card or it's drivers, regardless if you're on windows use DX11 there's no benefit to use Vulcan on windows machines.

Like I said you have issues unrelated to Duckstation
Duckstation will run fine on any modern PC with a multi core 2ghz CPU 8gb of RAM and any graphic card that's dx11 or Vulcan compatible.

You only need a decent PC if you wanna crank some of the enhancements to absurd levels like playing art 4k with the XBR filter on.

This is the closest you'll get as such videos are really unnecessary as Duckstation will run the same on a 200$ machine as it would on a 2000$ machine so there is no need to create specific configurations for specific PCs.

And even in this video the configuration is very minimal and as you can see the GPU and CPU are barely doing any work.

most ps1 games is capped at 30fps but some games they capped at a higher framerate in 60fps
