*Update* I tried using the code thingie....and it still wont work.....but when I go over to the "voice archive" or whatever its called....it shows a weird emblem instead of the normal green boxed and also if you wait a couple of secs....a mountai can be viewed(wtf?)

Help! I saved @ the final save point and went the Cave of Trials and now my game freezes everytime I go into a battle. Says "There is a problem w/ the voice data" and freezes. Maybe a code to turn of the voices or something like that. I just don't want to not be able fight the final boss.

i would also like an SP code...

Um anyone here using epsxe and pec to play this game? I tried using the max fol in pec and it doesn't seem to be working. I also tried to use the enable code with it but its still not working. Any ideas?

Here's what you do. You load the SP codes. You go to the menu and you use the SP on whatever talents you wish to use them on. Then you save. If it won't let you save, exit the menu screen and then re-enter the menu screen. It should let you save then. Restart the game without the codes on. DO NOT MOVE AROUND OR GET INTO ANY BATTLES WHILE THE CODES ARE ACTIVE OR THE GAME WILL FREEZE WITH THE JAPANESE CHARACTERS! If you don't move around and do as I have stated, then it will work fine. It is some extra work, but you get the benefits of the code. That is a solution that I have found.

Im currently using an emu remember? and im using the pec plugin....and that plugin does not allow you to enter your own cheats.....so if there is another cheating pluging or you know how to fix it can...you either:
1)Tell me of another cheating plugin
2)Use yours and post the fixed memory card

Please Man dont get mad at me.....its just that I want to play So2 badly and I been waiting to fix it for so long

No no noooooo , if you are using the pec plugin, in the file menu there is an option called "User data base", there you can enter your own codes or you can edit the file called user.inf (easier)
I tried some codes but the games crashes but now i get this screen when crash. :eyespin:

cause I already knew about the user data base method...Its just that the code does nothing or/and it doesnt seem to be activated even after I click on "send cheats to plugin" all the rest of the codes work 100% fine.....

Set the PEC refresh rate to fastest.
If not, try waiting for awhile (a few seconds) before taking action.

I had that already.....and yes it does not work...hence why I came here on the first place...you guys are trying to help but you are just giving me what I already know....I would be really thankful if you would plz do it for me(if it works for you ofcourse)

Ok.
Reinstall PEC and reactivate the cheats you activated for Star Ocean during the previous time you played Star Ocean.

Try loading the savestate/memcard again.

Hi guys....its been a while....yet I still pray that you guys could help me....but realizing that my case...is a lost case...I come to you one final time..This might sound stupid but....is there way to move my memory file that I have on my comp...to my memory card?(Im planning on getting another copy of Star Ocean 2) I was thinking that...it might help
