I dont understand what you mean by "activate savestates" but I did use a savestate to save my game after I used cheats....and also what would installing pec do? I just want my game to play normally again....I dont want no cheats

Try loading from the latest memroy card save you have, rather than using save states.

Then, load from the memcard and replay to that part. If it still has problems, then you have found one of those pesky issues with savestates. Try an older memcard save if you have any.

Then you have changed your config, because the game (in ISO or from CD is read-only)
Try to use some memory card tool, or use another emulator, or use an old save state, or copy the saved game with the PSX BIOS (run BIOS), or use different pluggins to save and then return to the previous pluggin config.

No, but sometimes they can screw the game. If you saved your game after activating the cheats, then whatever got screwed got saved as well. If you don't have a save from before saving, then you are basically out of luck. The only solution then would be restarting from zero.

i love how you don't try, or don't even ask for help. you just give up. very nice.

try scrolling down a little in the reply to thread box. see picture. i may be going a little extreme, but hey, with this method you cant fail.

Well,I have tried your memory card with some emulators/plugins/cpu modes/bios and the problem persists. Then I use google to search this problem and I found this web only available in the google cache

http://216.239.59.104/search?q=cach...a=1+"voice+data"+"star+ocean"&hl=es target=nw

There is someone wiht a problem like yours. I have read it and I think that the problem is caused by the "enable all vocies" cheat. Probably when you loaded the cheat it worked but you didn't apreciate that, then you saved and AFTER that you disabled the cheat. Then the next time you loaded the game, it searched the "all voices" feature and when the game didn't found it (because you disabled that), the game gives you that error message (problem with the vocie data).
Finally the solution may be reenable the "all voices cheat" or something. I can't send you the memorycard solved now because I have a little porblem with the cheat engine (I can't load the fu*k*** code)
