Tried out RE5 and SF4 first, but as expected noticed no change

I will need to run stuff like PCSX2 and Dolphin I think to see what it really can do

Btw, RedLion, I'm sorry...you just need to understand that if someone is saying that they are having a rough day or depressed about something then it may not be a good thing to make a joke about it. It's common knowledge on this forum that I suffer from a really horrible disease and not a lot of people here know what it is because I'd rather keep it that way. Only about 2 or 3 people actually know what I have.
oO? How can I logicaly try to make a joke about your bad day if I don't even know how it was? I already told you: I don't care about people's life in general on the net, so my posts are rarely, if not, never, directed to it.

So when I say that I had a depressing doctor's appointment, the best thing would probably not to make a joke about it.
I can understand you had a bad day. But the world isn't related only to you. My joke wasn't.Taken positively and simply as it was, it could have at least make you smile.

I have bad days too. Everyone have. You did say yourself in one of your post you were here to have fun and forget a little about reality or I'm wrong?

That goes for everyone that says that they are having a bad day. You shouldn't really make fun of it because someone may take it in bad taste like me.
So you'll have to learn to think positive. Especially here.

Even if you are trying to be helpful and make someone laugh and smile, try a different tactic. Sorry, but making a joke about such things is not really tasteful.
1-The world isn't only related to your IRL problems. It can't turn with or without.

2-You can't reasonably ask people to adapt themselves ("trying different tactics") about your day mood. This is simply selfish. We are what we are.

3- I suggest you to really make a separation between Internet and your real life. A member here taught about his real life issues here and an old mod really made fun of it. It lead to crappy threads and situations. People here are not your friends. They generally won't care about your feelings. I hope you are aware of that.

If you really want to be listen and talk, RL friends you can really thrust are the best for that.

we don't need to be mature in the random thought thread Xtreme, its leisure time, people use the forum to get away from the stress and seriousness of real life.

The rest of my specs will remain the same as in my sig until Fermi cards are released
Nice purchase DS :D

M. Night Shyamalan's movies are usually hyped flops, so I wouldn't get your hopes up. But you never know until you know.

Thats awesome man. :D

If you can cut down on your refined sugars and fructose-glucose, in the things you drink, you might have a bigger impact on your weight then working out at the YMCA. You just have to be willing to cut out sodas and juice for a while.

Yeah, being online all the time is very mentally unhealthy. I know from personal experience. Its so refreshing to step outside after hours on the computer.

Well I hopefully you do spear yourself a nice lady. Spear yourself an Xtreme2daMAM :D
Thanks for the tips, sweets seem to be a big problem with me especially soda. I am exercising, but I do need to cut down my calorie intake and eat better. I find myself more exhausted as of lately, staying up late and sleeping the day away. It seems no amount of sleep is the right amount of sleep for me and I end up exhausted throughout the day dragging myself to do much of anything. I am also dealing with painful/annoying headaches almost everyday on top of feeling exhausted, I also feel like my body isn't getting enough oxygen.

hrmm, so the mobo has tri-channel support, and 4 ram slots. is there any special way to put them in for tri channel, like how you have it. or any reason for the one slot open like that?

*edit* and are those 2 pci-e 1x slots usable with the mobo heat sink?

Is it true that ubuntu is a good operating system for programming?
You can start creating your own C-programs out of the box with any distro of Linux and make them in Terminal.

If you need more advanced tools, most of them are right away available from repository and you can easily get started with them.

You can run Matlab scripts via Octave and doing some HTML is as easy as you do it with Windows.

Of course, it depends what you want to program. Ubuntu offers you very many possibilities.

No idea why there is the extra slot, but the one not used is a different color to the other 3 slots!

In regards the 2 PCI-E 1x slots, the bottom one actually looks fine to use, but indeed the top on looks unusable, but I don't plan to use them anyway!

Ubuntu isn't nor bad nor good for programming. The job you can do on Ubuntu, you can do it on Windows.

I have to say I don't really like linux systems. They are not really made for everyday use, despite the fact their interface seems to be user-friendly.

You have a server to configure(apache, DNS, mail)? go for it. Just configure what you have to configure and GTFO. You want some comfort and don't want to "apt-get install" every 5 minutes? Stay on windows.

Moreover, Linux systems tend to be very Internet connexion dependent.

Done some reading of the manual and can now say this motherboard supports dual and triple channel,

There are 3 white slots and 1 blue, blue is only to be used when running 4 dimms in dual channel

And as i said earlier 1 of the pci-e 1x slots is indeed very much hard to use (if at all usable)oO but the 2nd one should be fine! (I have nothing pci-e 1x to test it)

I want to know if any of these games are compatible with online play with the PS3.

-Eternal Sonata
-Assassin's Creed
-Assassin's Creed 2
-Dead Space
-LittleBig Planet (I know that this one is compatible at least...)
-Uncharted
-Uncharted 2

Thanks guys. :D
