Seems my G500 is on the end of its lifespan, so I'm looking for a replacement.
The problem I'm having with it is the left mouse button. Most of the time when I click and drag, it will release prematurely, then click on its own. Or it will simply click 2-3 times in a row.
As a result, I'm having some issues in games, as well as moving files around or deleting them.
I've had it for quite a few years now (3 years in January), kind of a miracle it's held it together for so long, considering how much I use it.

As a "reward" for backing Defense Grid 2 on kickstarter, I got the Razer Naga. Haven't used it much, but it feels kind of small in my hands, as it's shorter than the G500, and that fits me perfectly.

When I get back from my sister's place over the New Year, I'll start to use it more actively to see if it's any good for me.

In any case, if it doesn't, anyone have any suggestions for good decent-sized mice?

Don't really care if it's wireless or wired, as long as it responds when it's supposed to.
Decent size, no small ones.
Extra buttons (like the 6 side ones on the Naga) can take a hike, I barely use them as it is.
Heavy mice are awesome. On each of the customisable mice I've had, I've loaded them up with the heaviest weights, I've always been more precise with them that way.

How long have you owned it? You might be able to get a free replacement from logitech of a newer revision. Those clicking issues are well known on older revs of those mice.

Placed the order on the 25th of January 2010, so very close to 3 years.
According to the webshop I used, Logitech offers 36 months warranty, so that'll actually end in a month.

I should hit them up for a replacement :D

Definitely not the X7...at least if that's the X7 I'm thinking of.

Anything with customizable weights I'd say
so:
Cyborg R.A.T 5 and 7
Roccat Kone + or XTD
Thermaltake eSports Black Element or Saphira
(both the Thermaltakes are very cheap and on paper at least extremely well priced, I'll probably get a Black Element if my Stinger breaks)
Genius Gila (similar design to the Black Element)

Honourable mention to the non-weight-adjustable:
Razer Imperator
Razer Taipan
Steelseries Sensei
Corsair Vengeance M90 (needs a USB3 port, not backwards compatible)

''An attractive married woman—she had a huge rock on her finger—came over and started hitting on my client immediately and relentlessly. After a while, her husband came out from the dance club area, clearly upset. He never threatened anything physical. He barely even raised his voice. He just wanted to know what she was doing. His wife played dumb. So my client spoke up: "Your girl is trying to **** me."

The husband got into it a little with his wife. He wanted to leave. My client called over one of the bouncers and told him to get rid of the couple. The wife decided to stay. The husband got booted. He was irate. She didn't care. Five minutes later, my client was having sex with her in the back office of the club. She left, and he never talked to her again. Obviously, we have no idea what happened with the marriage''

lol

Seriously?
Nevermind it just seems to be a local site trying to cover it's rear
Can't find mention of it anywhere else.

Please note: It is NOT recommended to connect this mouse to a USB 2.0 (or USB 1.1) port.

Certainly wouldnt have suggested that one.
You're also going to have to be more specific :p
I keep forgetting A4Tech make a whole bunch of X7 products.

What the **** man, it's only 10, and the other guys in the house have already gone to bed.
In the meantime, I'm about to finish my first bottle of wine (solo).
...Or wait, am I allowed to talk about alcohol? You know, since it's not 18+ in this thread.

Hey man, I was wondering where you went.
Been real busy lately. Between running my repair shop, and I've since started a second business.

We've been buying up a few houses in my old area and renting them out - This is a 50/50 split partnership with my friend/business genius. The real estate in my old area is cheap to buy, but rental prices are high - namely due to all the natural gas exploration that's going on down there. But due to this business venture, I've been running one business, and traveling two hours each way multiple times a week to go work on my other business. Tiring, but I'm a greedy bastard and the money is wonderful. If this second business continues to grow, I might just drop the auto repair altogether.

It just sucks the real estate here in the Canton area isn't good as far as renting houses out goes. Where we are buying property, you're looking at paying $260 for a mortgage on a two-bedroom duplex house, and being able to rent both out for $650/pc. That's a good profit - I don't have the numbers on hand ATM, but even factoring in taxes and expenses it's still pretty damn good. Here in the Canton area, you're looking at a few percent ROI at best until the house is paid off.
