The good question then is, did Kojima fill the game with his name just for that purpose? To make it too much work to remove. I mean Kaizen and Thanakil both said his name is everywhere, to the point of annoyance.
It depends how you want to use it as they explained. You either want him to protect you more or you just simply let him do his thing and you do your own but you can build a nice strategy which is why i like it. However, you need him to beat those huge monsters, it goes slightly in the last guardian direction where the chicken/dog creature protect you and help you.

I am a huge fan of super gigantic creatures especially dragons / monsters! For Gear Of War, it suits my taste and i wanted to play it badly and at one point i even thought about getting a Xbox just for this game. But i gave up due to i really don't like to play shooting game with controller (i still can do it but it would greatly reduce the fun. I want to fully enjoy this game). Knowing it will eventually go to PC, i will just wait until i get a new PC only play it. I care a lot about graphics (gameplay is important but for me graphics is equally important too), hopefully the game graphics' tech will reach another level when my new PC is ready! (I am aiming to get a new PC when 2 more video card generation is passed. I have very high demand when it comes to graphic card power) P/S i dislike SLI setup (i owned a GTX 295). I just want one powerful graphic card.
Yeah, Gears is awesome and i own a copy of the original PC release which require a patch in order to work. I even made a 4K gameplay video not long ago but the lack of details kill it not to mention the lags on cutscenes even if still the framerate is glorious. I hope this game is crossbuy just as Killer Instinct as i want to play it on my PC too and get the best results. If not then i will just purchase it again XD

Actually if there is one thing i dislike about MGS5 is the sound when running, it's horrible. Have you listened the sound? at first i thought it was a joke but after watching several videos i was like WTF?

Yup, i listened the sprinting sound. Hmmm, don't really have any issue with it as far as i remember (but seems the sound when running is a bit too loud?). The screen shake was the biggest problem to me, lol.
