Ok first off here are my specs.

AMD anthlon 5200+ @ 2.7ghz
2gb dd2-800 ram
Abit ta770 a2+ motherboard
EVGA geforce 9800 gt OC
Windows 7 home prem 64bit


Ok here is my problem.

When i start psx2 it loads up and says the settings need to be configred...ok good.

But i notice there is an error in the console that states
Plugin Load failurelugins\GSsoftdx.dll
SysLibError NULL


And then when i change any settings or click ok i get

bad allocation psx2 will now close.

And sometimes i also get something about how it can not load a plugin and NULL


Help please

Did you update the Direct X to aug2009?

Do you use PCSX2 0.9.6 or beta?

I tryed both.

the beta seems to give even more trouble.

When i start the beta i jsut keep getting missing file errors

SD.DLL

and then it just keeps saying bad allocation or failed to load gs plugin

You should delete the GSsoftdx.dll that give the error in plugin dir.

Ok i did that and now it just keeps giving me

An unhandled or unrecoverable exception occurred. with the message

bad allocation

psx2 will now close. more details may be in the emulog.txt

Did you try these plugins (Use with svn 1888 and up) extract to plugin dir and overwrite all.

When i try to load the beta it states w32pthreads.v3.dll is missing about 4 times. and thten gives an allocation error!!!!! omg


also i downloaded the zip for the beta. the installer wont download

i am trting everything...this seems impossible!! different errors at different times

WOW...i think i got it!!!!!

i changed the firewall plugin to another one and now it works

I think there are problems when you try to use the beta of PCSX 2 without uninstalling older version first.
Try reinstalling it!

my system configuration is as follows:hp 530 laptop windows xp(sp 3) cpu-intel core 2 duo t5200 @ 160ghz 160ghz,0.99 gb of ram. will psx2 0.96 emulator work on my pc

when i load any game using psx2 0.96 after a few seconds i get the message psx2 0.96.exe has encountered a problem and needs to be closed
