Well, as if I remember correctly Xbox controller was made for US market (mainly), and so the controller will suit you most, unlike PS2 or PS3 controller size (altough I know the button position are all in the same position). I think that's the biggest difference, and since I live in asia, it doesn't surprize me that I love PS2 and PS3 controller ;p

Well the Xbox controller was designed and researched in a US market by a US company (MS). So that's no surprise. BUT they made the S controller for the smaller people of Japan, and for some strange reason, people in the US liked it too so they just quietly started phasing out the fat controller, which made me really angry. The S controller is absolutely horrible. I love the 360 controller, I just wish it was about 120% of its current size.

120% bigger, huh? Ah, I  to you Sir Hushy , interesting ... very interesting :D.

I just wanted to say that I picked up two of those psx adapters at the Radio Shack near my g/f's house last night. So they still are making them. I payed $11.99 for them. You might have some luck in your area too.

The Playstation controllers aren't that bad, but damn, I'm going to have "fun" figuring out which controller uses which driver, they changed the drivers and adapters a couple of times, one of my adapters uses a miniCD for the drivers and another uses a regular CD! LOL ;)

Maybe I'll use them on seperate PCs...

They are good for their price...just make sure you install the drivers...

;)

Paratech, mini CD or regular CD is just a matter of CD size I think. There is no difference between them, unless stated. Mini CD anyway just more "fun", lol.

I think the drivers are different, I just haven't tried both adaptors on the same PC at the same time. They also have a different bar code, why is beyond me, particularly if they use the same driver. I think the newer ones support more functions than the older ones...

Ok, I'm sorry, I was wrong, I thought force feedback was added in later versions...
I haven't messed with them that much, was an earlier driver on floppy disk? Maybe I'm thinking of another adaptor?...
