problem with SSSPSXPAD17 config

Hey guys,

After sitting for a day or so playing with the gfx/cpu settings to get a few games to work

I still have my main problem left, I can't get the controller to work

I got a dualshock 2 plugged in to my Smartjoy dual plus adapter (USB) which works flawless in regular PC games

But when I try to configure it on pcsx2 I can't configure the buttons it just chooses one thing auto J0_AXIS6_MIN (picture)

this is as best as I can get it and it isn't playable since I can't move, any idea what's wrong? please help

what might be the problem is that the deadzone for the controller is at 0% so if the control stick is barely pushed or is leaning a little bit it will set a control automatically. Like for you its setting J0_AXIS6_MIN

Try messing with your controllers settings for Dead Zone and I'd set the dead zone to about 20%. My xbox 360 controller is set there and I have no problems :)

Tried out different controllers etc and it was the same.. I tried having no controller still same problem..

So I took out my smartjoy adapter and saw that it is the one causing the problem :cry: ..

However the controll config has to be super sensitive, the padwinkey b driver lets me choose a button fine(aswell as other PC games as mentioned b4) but the padwinkey doesn't support analog :mad:

Hello. Some weeks ago I used another controller (some old logitech, I lend it from a friend) and had the same problem. I tried to calibrate it with windows and the result was worse (so this controller had errors). But could everyone post which axis the plugin eats by error? Maybe this helps a little. Maybe it's always the same?
