mah roommatez got a g4, and when he tries to run a ps game under vgs, the demo version, most of the time it doesnt recognize the cd, the screen still tells him to insert a game when itz already there. after that the cd icon dissapears even on the desktop so therez no way he can eject the cd unless he reboot. once in a million times the progress would run juz fine, readin' the game n' all, but so inconsistant!!!

In my opinion your friend needs a modchip patch for his cvgs.Find it on this site itself or on aldos tools.
*edit*sorry but just read that one or two times it works fine so I cant say much (can be many many reasons)
check out for dust & scratches on your cds though.
