I installed pec(to plugins of ePSXe), i selected my cheats and submitted them to plugin.
Then i changed my video drivers, restarted ePSXe.
But when i started FF8, the cheats didn't work
normally i use stats, but they didn't work either if i loaded from memory card...
i use virtual cd to play, i don't have my FF8 cd here....
(virtual cd makes a file from your cd and makes your computer think it is a drive)
i am now at disk 3.

PEc's plugin must be loaded as GPU, and the GPU is selected via
the PEC interface (click Configure under the GPU list)

Otherwise, read the manual once again

i used him as GPU(in video configurations right ?)
The test says the plugin works fine....
maybe it could be this:
i downloaded ePSXe 152 from the official site, but it didn't had any plugins or anything
so i used the plugins, memory card, bios file & other things from my olld version...
every time i try to change video or cdrom configuration, a message appears that he can't find file WNASPI32.dll and he can't find the entrypoint of procedure SMapLS_IP_EBP_20 in DLL-file KERNEL32.dll
but if i close those messages, i can just configure then fine, and they work too...
or it could be the fact that i use a vertual cd drive, but i doubt

maybe anyone know a version of ePSXe 152(my old version didn't want to format the memcard, so i couldn't change cd)with all plugin files and bios files ?
that could solve the problem
tnx anyway

hi!

You have to activate the codes after you've selected [pec] as GPU plugin.
If you close the emulator after you've send the codes to it, the sended codes will be lost.

nice guide

i did it right, except one thing i don't know if it is ok
i have 1 real drive, D, and 2 virtuals, Y and Z
i use Y for the virtual cd, and when i click on it this appeares:

Warning : Game with code "SLES-22080" was not found in the database. If you can select this game in the database, maybe it has a wrong ID.Maybe you have alternative version of that PSX game.

In that case, please ...blablabla... send this to nec@emuchcheater.com.this will be added in the next version of nec

if i try to click on D, then he can't find a game...(on Z neither)

Dunno, just press "Yes" when pec asks you if you're sure...
I often do that cuz sometimes, the SL****.*** in the database isn't the good ... and I'm too lazy to open the ini during the game

Update the pec's database using wordpad, or Pecedit
BTW, you'll have to find the codes by yourself or by searching it on the net

Like I said, to put the codes in, use wordpad or pecedit,
the codes themselves are gameshark codes,(sorry, I forgot to tell it)

Xtra answer, in the search box, type ISO, and you'll see a list of threads, one
of them will tell you all you need to know

EDIT: direct link to it

If you don't like OE, try Pegasus Mail (v4.02 for now), it needs less power, and it's not a m$ stuff

Since I don't know your game.... NO.
But have infinite number is easy to find via PECchu (CTRL+H)
