use the in game save. save states never seem to work for me with pearl. to ensure the most stable game, save (in game) every time you feel you accomplish something pretty good (like beating a ton of trainers or a gym), then go into your battery folder and make a copy of your save. that way if anything happens, you have a backup of your save.

 

i no i do usualy save ingame but the problem isnt saving it does that fine its loading the file after its saved instead of going to main menu like it should it always goes to start of a new game

 

There shouldn't be any problem with saving/loading if you set the correct save type. Remember that after you set the correct save type, you have to select "Save Options."

All this has been said in probably over a hundred threads already. The mods should add some script to block anyone from posting anything to do with this. It's even answered in the FAQ on the top of this page!
