Hi everybody, pls kindly help me out. I am new to PCSX2. Pls advise what I should do to get this thing running. I copied all the files in a folder and try to run it. but when i try to load it, it say XML Patch Loader: Could not load file...
Can anybody help me out and advise what i should do.. thanks!!!

That message is normal. You can pretty much ignore it. Take some time to read the configuration guide for help on setting up and using PCSX2.;)

You'll also need a BIOS dumped from your own PS2. Don't ask us where to download one because you can get banned for that. See RF's guide to dumping the BIOS.

thanks for all the help..I am finally able to get PCSX@ up and running. however I have another question..When I run FFX, it is quite slow. the character walking in it is also very slow. Anybody has any idea how to run the game in the same speed as the PS2. Pls recommend me the best configuration so that the game will run smoothly and fast. Btw, my system specs is. P4 2.6Ghz,1.5G ram, X1300pro radeon grahics,Win Xp home, 160GB hardisk. Thanks for all help!!:p

Try putting VU skip on. Its in the cpu configuration. About the only way to get full speed is to get a mid-range to fast dual core cpu. My 2.2ghz dual core AMD wont get full speed. Overclocking will also help increase speed (The percentage of overclock is usually the percentage of speed increase). Just so you know, Full speed for PAL games is 50fps while NTSC games are 60fps.
