Hi, just wondering if anyone can help translate the following Japanese text from this screenshot. I tried getting most of it, but the kanji characters were a little too small to distinguish too clearly.

So if anyone on the board has some knowledge of reading Japanese characters it would be appreciated.

WAAAY too much Kanji for me, and I probably wouldn't be able to understand it even if I could read it. Just curious. What is that from?

This is actually a request from another board, I was helping them out, but that is a GC game of some sort from what I hear, but not too sure what. I'll ask at the other board what game it is.

Well, I agree, way too much damn kanji for a gaijin, but, I think I can GUESS what it means. This should by no means be considered accurate, but I think it says something very similiar to what the dragon warrior games say when you tell the king you want to rest. The text contains both the katakana for "power button" and the straight out english word "OFF", so that would be my guess. On the other hand, you say it is a GC game? Hmm, well, I have no idea. Heh, someone translated it already, thanks for those who tried, but it was a reallly stupid translation. So here it is:

An error occurred.
Press the power button on the console, and turn it off.
Follow the instruction on the console's instruction manual.

So, I still don't know what game it is

If it's a GC game, it's probably Eternal Darkness. That reminds me of the insanity effects.
