All the versions say freeware. You downloaded it without donating and that's illegal. Also, it's rude to go bragging about downloading an illegal version too.

Do you know if I donate or not ?? Can you prove anything ?? If not, shove off

Is it allowed here for noobs to accuse others like that ?? if the software says it's freeware , it's a freeware. Argh. I'm starting to get pissed... Like... If you do not donate before downloading, then this software is not a freeware. Is it written something like that ?? I thought you could choose about donating or not. It's my money. I donate if I feel like it.
I could have donated 1 million dollars and still you woudn't know. This is too much bull**** for me. i'm outta here

Sorry to say it, but you guys need to stop. This talk is way off topic and your just detracting from the subject at hand. :note: Last I checked no$gba was freeware and downloading it is NOT illegal. @sak777, downloading via torrent is only illegal if what you are downloading is copyrighted material. Which no$gba is not, so there for what Saddan Hussein has done is not illegal at all, no matter how you look at it. So do, not only yourself, but everyone else a favor and stop giving ppl crap about doing things that you don't know the full extent of.

Until 2.7 comes out, downloading 2.6 without donating is illegal (or at least against the author's wishes, I'm not certain of the legality of the situation).
However, it appears that he merely downloaded a second copy of 2.6 from a torrent.
Both are 2.6, identical .... I don't get it
"both 2.6" <-Indicating the 2.6 he already had, plus the second copy he downloaded. If he donated when he downloaded the first copy, then any further copies he gets from torrents are perfectly legit. If he didn't donate before downloading the first copy, then he already performed the illegal act long ago, and any further illegal downloads of the same program are irrelevant.
In either case, the fact that he downloaded a second copy from a torrent has no bearing on the issue. The only thing that matters is how he got the first copy (which he has never mentioned).

This is what I'm talking about. You're damn right Kenshin. Finally someone with good sense. Geez.... As far as I know since you own the real thing you can download the emulator. About donations, well I support emulators since the old zsnes.. don't need to say more.

No matter. Now I'm pissed already. Those losers who accuse other people for nothing should be banned from this fine community. They only bring down the reputation of this wonderful forum. I'm outta. I'll be back when my head chills. End of discussion.

Thanks for supporting me Kenshin

Cypherswipe, the authors wishes are of no concern, if they are not backed by laws. The only law that I can think of that this would fall under is intellectual property. Which in this case also has no barring since it is not being sold as someone else's "product". Also the author of no$gba does NOT demand money but merely asks for it, downloading the emu without payment doesn't really constitute a theft as the author only asks for donations. Which means that is is optional, but is not required. I beleive that I have said all that I need to say at this point in time . Therefor I would like to get back to the case at hand. Again, Mysoft, thank you for this great add-on and I wish you hast in the upcoming updated version.

New to nds emulation scene, the emu is great and the nds2xgl plugin is great, just a few things:

1) Big Thanks!
2) Is there a way to rotate the screen in a different direction?
3) Please make the fullscreen work

That's it, it work like a charm, thanks a lot again

At least for me. I want to try it in this: Dynamism.com - Wibrain B1 , not the most beatiful looking machine in the world, but no$gba plays decently, low fps but I can tolerate that in some games, and the rotation direction in that machine would be opposite to the keyboard config I would like to use.
But there's a new problem for me, I've tested no$gba and it worked, and then tried nds2xl in my home computer and it worked, however in the wibrain I'm getting a white screen no matter what, I've tried 32 bit texture as suggested somewhere and no way, even tried 2.0 of nds2xl but again it doesn't work, where no$gba plays ok, any suggestions?

PD: one thing I would like to suggest is, maybe it's quite stupid or useless in many games, but in many DS games upper and lower screens show completely different info, so why not allow the screens to be placed one beside the other, so that they fit and resize better in computer screens?

Basically, an option similar to that of iDeaS. Something that has already been requested(though it doesn't hurt to refresh Mysoft's memory ~_^).

The emulator is copyrighted, and Martin Korth has explicitly denied redistribution rights. (See page with donation link) Therefore, downloading it is illegal and is a breach of Martin Korth's rights as dictated by international copyright law. It's as simple as that. Respect for the author's wishes are what copyright laws are all about. Protecting the wishes of the author. To suggest otherwise is stupid.

That being said, even if the piece of intellectual property isn't being sold as a product, it is still protected by copyright law.
So to No$gba pirates, DIAF.

Agreed. Even if that were not the case people like Saddan Hussein (what a thoroughly pathetic choice in names btw) advertising the fact that they are pirating the emulator will likely result in Martin becoming fed up with their disgusting antics and ceasing all work on the emulator.

It's sad how the actions of a select few always end up screwing over the majority and even sadder that those few are clueless/stubborn enough to believe they are not in the wrong.

I say good on martin for charging a lil bit of money!! its a great emu, infact its the worlds first DS emu to run at or near full speed

I mean look at Flithy Blizzard First you gotta buy WOW then they charge like $40 U.s A MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!! PER PERSON!!!!!!!!! theres excuse is so they can service the servers....
