My PS2 Emulator Crashes every time I use it!

Ok Every time I put in the game to play I see the PS2 screen where it shows the small light balls and the rectangle shape things, also the screen shakes as it's showing this, then the screen goes black then a error message apperas saying that PSX2 has crashed, I have posted this same question on every forum that I could find and still no one could help me figure this out I have recently found this site and hope some one on here could help. Ok I already know that my computer is able to play the PSX2 at the bare minimum which was answered by some other guy in another forum site, And some one else suggest it I downloaded a bad version of PSX2 which is not the case because I have already tired 4 other same results with different configurations. For additional Information, when I first got the PSX2 I watched a video on youtube on how to configure my PSX2 to my computer needs,did everything exactly how I should have. If your wondering what game I am trying to play It's Sims2 Pets, i am not tring to actually play it just using to test it just in case it ruins the disc(Smart yea I know :dead So if any one and I mean any one knows what else could be the problem please help! :thumb:

What pcsx2 version are you using,what plugins are you using,what is your pc,from where are you trying to start the game,image(ISO)or the disk.

The version is pcsx 20.9.6.exe and the plugins are as listed: cdvdGigaherz.dll, cdvdnull.dll, dev9null.dll, GSdx-sse2.dll-version1.0.1.9, GSdx-ssse3.dll-version1.0.1.9, Padssspsx.cfg, spu2peopssound.dll, usbnull.dll, zerospu2.dll, cdvdisco.dll, cdvdpeops.dll, fwnull.dll, GSdx-sse4.dll, lilypad.dll, padssspsx.dll, spu2-x-1.1.dll, zerogs.dll.

I have tried the program on 2 different computers, the first one is a desktop with XP pro, and a celeron(R) processor, 1.256 GB Ram, and GeForce Graphic's card. And the second computer was a laptop with Windows XP pro and has AMD Turion 64 mobile processor with 2GB of Ram and ALTI Radeon XPRESS Graphic's card. But on the laptop before i do anything it crashes at start up and says error with the GS plugin, then shows the PSX2 screen then i put the disc in and try to see if it would play it another error comes up and says theres and error with the ZeroGS plugin, but it doesn't do this on the desktop, why is that? oO

You are not really answering on my questions but anyway.

Did you even check the compatibility list first?
About that game Sims 2 Pets and since you are using pcsx2 0.96,the compatibility status is Nothing

Nothing
Exactly what it says, this game crashes before showing any graphics, making any sound etc!

Try again with r1888 or the newest beta(there is no info if that game work on the beta but you can check)

Well I was only using the sims game to test it before i wasted money on new games, I have actually given up on the ps2 version I have switched to the ps1 version, it works most of the time! I was going to use the ps2 emulator to play both ps1 and 2 games but I guess I'll just play ps1 thanks for trying to help!:thumb:

Anyway you can't use PCSX2 to play PS1 games.
