LCDs are quite preferable in my case....!

LCD's aren't the best yet. I'd go with the Flat Screen. Preferably a Sony Trinitron.

same (that option costed ~$250 more when I was buying my cpu, and was a 15" instead of a 17", not to mension I had already spent ~$2000 already on it...)

 

Just a quick ?, which monitors usually give the clearest picture and best colors?

 

Flatscreen's give the clearest picture and best colors. LCD's are not quite that good yet, cept for the size.
