1) Kyro? I think you're out of luck, I've seen many people having problems with them, and I don't remember anyone getting it to run properly on any plugins other than soft ones. :(

2) This problem is most likely due due some scratches on the CD. You can probably fix it by using Pete's CDR Plugin or an ISO.

i have a kyro too and these are my results with sevearl plugins

petes ogl = slow on games like ff9 but it works good with games like resident evil or crash b try it for yourself

petes d3d = freezes randomly with kyros dont use it !

for the most games you have too stay with soft plugins like peops or kazz soft (try both)

hope i could help you a litle

I used to be cursed with one, but it died and I finally got rid of it. YAY!!!!

Anyway, I have been having some luck with NextGL and Next3D. I don't know how it runs on a Kyro though, since mine isn't around anymore. I suggest that you give it a try.

If Next3D or NextGL doesn't work, I guess you are stuck with Peops soft plugin.

Have you tried the latest drivers? I know a new set came out recently and I herd they were a nice improvment. I didn't have one for long cause I sold it, but when I did it worked fine, the only thing it couldn't do was the swirl effects in hardware. But that card had some fine image quality.

The latest drivers I used were: 14.0028

They came out in January, so yes, they were pretty new. They sucked like the rest for me though. Jane's USAF had missing screens that made the game unplayable. Metal Gear Solid runs faster on my TNT, and ePSXe was unplayable unless I wanted to upgrade my CPU and use soft plugins. Man, did I ever hate that card.
