The problem I'm having with the FPS when i play kingdom hearts is that movies and game in general rises and falls from 20 to 60 FPS constantly. i tried changing the settings on PCSX2 but nothing helps. and its not like my laptop is underpowered. i run a dell 15 inch i7-720QM mobile cpu, 4GB RAM at 1066MHz, 512MB ATI Radeon HD 5470 Graphics Card, 1080p display and a 500GB hardrive. I want to know how others have set up PCSX2 to run kingdom hearts on their computers,(the second one also even though i haven't played it yet).

here is all the setting from my pcsx2. its all in a 7-zip file cause my screen resolution wont make the pics under 500kb and this website allows pics of 200kb or less.

ok, i dont get this, iv copied pcsx2 configurations of other people using dual core systems that work fine for them. but my i7 quad core still lags and love to stay around 30 fps all the time, with all the speed hacks on... WTF????? maybe is my processor speed, even though its an i7 its on a laptop so its limited to 1.60 GHz. but that shouldnt matter because it also has turbo mode that goes up to 2.3GHz. please someone help me, i sold my ps2 and all 30 of my ps2 games, kingdom hearts 1 and 2 were the only ones i kept and i wanna keep em...HELP MY ASS!!!!!!!

Yeah, the CPU cores don't matter much in PCSX2 unless it's single core. The speed is a bit low, 1.8ghz.

Have you tried downloading the latest beta with the march plugins from the pcsx2 site?
