Its a old problem.
The rumble function in the emu is not very accurate.
I tested every configuration possible but the rumble isn't complete especially in Silent Hill. The emu seems to only support video/audio plug-in's. Is it possible to use a pad plug-in which supports the rumble function. And exists there such a plug-in and when yes whats the name of it.

can someone help me out. i'm in the hardware forum trying to find a nice cheap linux usb adapter for a dual analog psx controller. preferably one that isn't transparent and rainbow coloured if possible. can anyone fill me in on this.

also, are they simply considered usb hid devices. need you oconfigure x for them. and do they send a signal to /dev/input/js(n) ... or are they in the /dev/usb region. i figure i could figure it out after i get my hands on one. i'm just out looking for some advice. i actually need to pick up two for simultaneous use on different pcs. i figured everyone played emulators with native controller adpaters. but i'm getting no response in the hardware forum.

sincerely,

michael

What are you talking about man? I don't know of any way to get Rumble working in Linux. Do you?
:heh: This would be a prime example of why I should never skim through threads at midnight. I missed the fact he mentioned "rumble" support :p.

However the answer is still true to an extent:p. He was running the windows version and it doesn't support any pad plugins, rumble or not.
