Hi
I recently got a Dell Optiplex 9020 USFF for free, I would like to set it up to emulate some older systems and games. The systems I'm interested in emulating are the TG-16, N64, Atari Jaguar, Neo Geo, and older arcade systems. I am not up to date on emulators, the last time I messed around with emulators was over twenty some years ago, the only emulator I still have is Magic Engine for the TG-16.

System Spec's: CPU: i5 4590s 3.00gHz, Ram 16G, HDD 120GB or 400GB I have both.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi

So i got Batocera up and running on this system but I got two problems, 1: the image on the tv is shifted slightly to the left with part of the image being off the screen, and 2: i don't get any sound through the display port to HDMI cable.

  • Neo Geo: FinalBurn Neo and MAME are both great options for Neo Geo emulation and older arcade systems. RetroArch is another fantastic choice because it allows you to manage multiple emulator "cores" from one interface.
Regarding storage, if you have the option, I'd go with the 400GB HDD to give yourself plenty of space for game ROMs and any emulator front-end setups you might want. Enjoy diving back into the world of retro gaming!
