Im not sure the messed up 3D show in the 0.6 release,there is a possibility it got broken,so dont be so sure it works.Also there is no point in running bios with a cdvd plugin...to run it just use cdvdnull thats why its there

 

I managed to see the start menu with your help

How did you manage it?

 

to get to the start menu is simple, just press start during the second intro-screen (the screen after the squaresoft)

Yeah i know...but some people posted some screenshots from the menue.
And i want so see the menue at my pc, because i will be sure it will work later at my PC^^

Second you said you saw nothing AFTER you started the game so i presumed you meant after menus.You can get to menus by pressing start a couple of times after the sqauresoft logo...and trust me it will be a very long time before you can play FFX in your pc

 

hi its me again
i know that it could take a long time before ffx begins to work on pcsx2 but in many threads there are screenshots of the movie "before" start menue and they are made by registred users not by beta testers. I think they where made by pcsx2 0.6. and i hope someone can tell me what i have to do to see it.

the only way to get the menu up is to keep pressing the button youve mapped for "start" after the squaresoft logo constantly till it loads the menu, else itll run the 3d intro then crash when its finished.

remember when your in the menu if you click start game itll crash, so dont expect wild things, your better off being wow'd by the 3d intro running

 

I want it see too but If I load the ISO game file.Nothing happens. There is just a black screen. and the fps is very slow.1-10fps some other people at this board wrote that they had till 30fps.How is that possible?I have the original pal version(not a demo)

i got 30fps on the bios, and about 50 on the squaresoft logo, but soon as you hit any 3d it drops right down to 4fps

but thats using an Athlon 64 3400+, gig of ram, Radeon 9800XT and the GSDX9 plugin using pixel shader 2.

oh and disable recompiler unticked.

with GSSoft youll probably get 8fps up to the 3d then itll drop down to <1fps

If i run the execute...nothing happens, there is just a black screen....

 

be patient my friend, if you have the recompiler disabled it takes a good 20 seconds to get going.

with it enabled your looking at 5-10

what graphics plugin are you using? try gssoft and gsdx9

 

It doesnt run with gssoft and gsdx9....i waited till 4000frames.Maybe you can send me your version with your settings per e-mail or icq or something?Maybe it will run then?

 

i doubt itll make much difference, make sure you have directx 9 installed and your not using the HLE Bios

youll need another, japan US or European bios from the actual machine, i cant tell you where to get it, rules forbid talk like that
