EMULATION RULES! CHRONO TRIGGER NEVER LOOKED SOOO GOOD!

At the moment though, i really don't use epsxe as much as i use to. I use Zsnes and Kawaks quite a bit. (neo-geo, cps2, and the snes are my fav. game systems of all time). :)

my main point over here to discuss here is that I am pretty much lossing my interest in emulation. I remember that when I joined PSxem, I was like a freak of emulation, downloaded and tried almost every tool in existance. But now I don't even bother downloading anything new coming. The primary reasons is the Lack of interest in the new PS games, as PC games are much better, maybe if there is PS2 emulation going with aggresstion then maybe I again become an emulation freak.
My interest in emulation is in a all-time low, due mostly to my current addicion to Warcraft III. But I'm pretty sure when something new/interesting comes up I'll go back to then, it has been like for the 5 years I've followed this "scene".

I use emulators as much as ever. I finished Silent Hill again the other day, and I am also playing through Dragon Quest 6, and Xenogears.

I also have a GameCube, and a high end PC. The thing is that emulation is always there, and if you want to play an old classic between shines, then there's nothing stopping you.

I haven't played ePSXe too much lately, but I've still been using the emulators quite a bit. I still go and play the old NES and SNES games on RockNESX or ZSNES all the time. And I've also been playing alot of N64 games on Project64. There's tons of high quality new PC games coming out, but I never seem to get addicted to them, and once I either beat them or get bored with them, it's back to the emulators to play all my favorite old classics.

I actually think ePSXE is better than ZSNES... or at least brings more to the table. Only because the fact that ePSXe significantly enhances the graphics and speed of PSX games, whereas SNES games really can't be improved all that much, not that that's ZSNES's fault, it's just the different nature of the 2 systems.

we're freaks !!!!

lol

but i guess that i've got emu-intensive times and emu-less times

that's what I mean.
currently I'm in an old-school mood; I've been to a MSX fair last saturday and picked up some really cool stuff :)

the FIRST metal gear....?
buck rogers?
or other really cool stuff?

a memory mapper; meaning I can run the disk version of Metal Gear 2 (rom dump) into memory now, with music and everything :)

and got a few old konami carts too :)

DW is probably the still one of the biggest EMU freaks out there....It never stops amazing us.....The funny thing is that a lot of people are emu fans for the wrong reasons...

another funny thing is that the same people that say they are tired of emulation will come running back after a new ePSXe release, commercial DC / Saturn EMU...or if one of the current next GEN consoles gets emulated.....

we have to admit that emulation entered a new era by the emualtion of the popular console, PSX, before it even dies, which explains the amount of people demanding for a PS2 emulator. Basically, emulators were started to run games on dead consoles like SNES or NES. I have lots of emulatos/roms to play with, ranging from PSX, N64, gameboy, SNES, game gear....etc. I was always an emulation freak, and i ll always be like that!,..........:)
