How long have you followed PCSX2?

Just a random question, because I'm curious about how many people just heard about it recently and went "Oh, cool!" I'm also wondering about some of the betatesters/mods/programmers, since I know quite a few of you weren't here from the beginning.

Mine: PCSX2 0.6 was the first one I got. Nothing worked(I expected).
0.7:Same as above, though it crashed faster, which means better efficiency.
0.8: Something first worked that I owned
0.8.1: Disgaea 1 fully playable(no sound, but no crashes)
0.9: Sound implemented well. KH ingame(3fps)
0.9.1: FFX beaten(20-60fps)

I've been following it very closely since about 0.8 was released, but I remember first using one of the first couple of versions (that did nothing but run a .elf demo slowly). I'm almost positive I tried 0.2 when it first came out, not sure about before that, as it was years ago. :)

Since 0.6 release. As I remember, the aim for me always was ffX :heh:
But anyway, to compare 0.6 and 0.9 versions  oh lol
thx to PCSX2 very much for their work

I found it when it was 0.031 or something like that (I have this memory where the emu had lots of zeros, dunno if it has ever had any v0.000x release), nothing worked so I forgot about it until some months later (0.41?) and I have been following it since then

I tested for linuzappz on PCSX (netsock (brings back fond memories of racing against linuz with GT2), game compat, misc), got invited over to test for this project. I was already talking to linuz on a regular basis about the project as well, also helped being involved with PSXeven (...where are you batard!!!) and other projects.

I was using ePSXe and PSXeven when I heard about this project on their forums. I first tried 0.6 (General Plot clued me in on how to download (or is it upload?) my PS2 BIOS). 0.6 didn't do much and I've tried a couple of others since just to monitor progress (and now with 9.1 my PC isn't up to the task). Much like Gandalf, since the release of 9.1 I check everyday and jump on the forums to see who has what to say or add. This emu is in an exciting phase of development. The guys who have been working on it thier answers are usually fun to read as well as informitive (you know who you are!). I check the forums from work, at home, from my phone on the commute to work...whenever I feel the need for a little escape. It's become more than just an emu to me; it's my entertainment. (I'm married with kids and I have to 'steal' the time to do anything of self interest!) I hope the hard work continues to lead to good results (so I can have an excuse to buy a new PC and get my PS2 retired from in front of the TV!) Keep it up you guys, we appreciate your efforts!

I don't remember when I first found out about the pcsx2 project. (I created my account in 2005 but I don't remember whether I did it as soon as I've found out about the project itself) All I remember that that that was the moment when news about the first intro movie (some fighting game) played by pcsx2 emulator appeared in the pcsx2.net. Soon I forgot about it. I haven't been here for a long time and returned back recently.
