Do you care for right button combinations or go thrashing all buttons? :D

I'm asking this because I've been playing GG X2 #Reloaded a lot now, and have noticed that I just can't get combo sequences in my mind so I go hitting all the buttons my fingers can reach. :p

What about j00?

Face me in Street Fighter Alpha 3 and prepare to meet your doom. I know what i'm doing and you better not be a newbie because you're gonna get raped

Honestly I train first all combos, normal in a player 1 vs player 2 mode with a second player that dont move... Then I practice in CPU oponents and master the combos for duels against friends. My last example was Dragon Ball Z Budukai 3 for the ps2, I am now pretty good in combos and can kick any of my friends ass!!

I don't button bash in fighting games like street fighter, Virtual Fighter etc,
its the fastest way to lose, also not as enjoyable as pulling off a combo.

I like to go for combos and special moves but,
I always keep it simple because trying to pull
flashy moves under p[ressure is difficult.

Guilty gear is a hardcore fighting game so its preety difficult.

In Soul Calibur I know what I'm doing, though I don't think when I play, it's all done on auto pilot. In 2d fighters more often than not I will button mash.

thumbs up for you.

I plain suck at combos but I dont button mash. I do combos of my own single attacks and it usually works. Like in DBZ I would make my offensive attacks and defense the best and try not to get caught in a combo. I could hold my own against the best.

I tend to do a little bit of both, of course it really depends on the game.
In SFA i use combos, while in SC i tend to button mash.

I bought a Dead or Alive 4 Controller for the PC, it's an XBOX 360 controller, but it plays nice for MAME, some emulators don't like the fact it uses the "hat" controls for the stick, but I can use joy2key to use the controller.

It's nice for arcade games, particularly fighting games.
