You have to dump your firmware off your DS and place it in the no$gba folder as far as I know.
No, after you load up your nds game in no$gba then go to FILE>Reset Cartridge until you can use the touchscreen and if it didnt work for the first time then keep trying. 
you ned arm7 and 5 to use the touch screen, I did it without firmware.binmaybe you don't have the firmware.bin that schumi said

by the way, i am trying to play pokemon diamond on the emulator.
You have to dump the firmware off your DS....(get a copy of it on your hardrive)....I don't know how else to explain it...

connect your ds via parallel port, open no$gba > Utility > Remote Access > Download Firmware from NDS
