3.7Ghz is nothing... I want 4Ghz but I'm already at the EDGE of my limitation. And yes, go for the C2D you won't regret it later on. I'd recommend the E6750 which is priced at the same as the E6300!!! If you're into overclocking get the Allendale c2d if you wanna go cheap.

According to the program i used a 2.66Ghz c2d = 3.55Ghz AMD

I wouldn't recommend an Allendale, if lucky you'll hit 3.6gHz but I heard the later batches are worse. If you actually meant the e6300 with the 2MB cache, that's a Conroe, not an Allendale, the former just has 2MB disabled while the Allendales run at an FSB of 800MHz.

And yeah, it annoys me when I see such confusion
