Sorry for the useless post, i usually dont do this but im so damn excited xD after 3 months with my TNT 2 i finally got my new gfx card xD i followed the advices of most ppl here and got an ASUS GF 6800 GT. Very nice looking card too. Im about to mount it on my PC. Just clearing some stuff up. Btw this thing has 2 power suply entraces. Anyone knows if thats really for 2 incoming cables or like 1 incoming and another out to use in other stuff? Just wanna make sure. The manual doesnt say anything about it :S

Btw here's the card xD

Damn i think that was really it oO many many thanks cooliscool, I disasembled everything, cleaned up everything and now my temp idles at 45/47Âş C but it still goes to 70/75 when benchmarking. I disabled the clock throtling but i was carefull with the temps. The results in benchmarks really improved, and games as well. CS Source now runs at 60/90 fps instead of 15/30, and my PCmark CPU score went from 2000 and something to 4148. However its still a little slower then most guys scores in futuremark website like this one
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?pcm04=2854902

, and i was expecting games to run bit faster. NFSU2 still runs at very low speeds, @ 1024*768 NO AA and some options disabled like enhanced contrast, was running at 20/30 fps.

Just one question, does a cpu work faster at lower temperatures? Couse if so then i need better cooling.

Btw here's my scores in PCmark 2004:

Have you updated NFSU2 to patch 1.2? It increases performance for 6x00 cards. I'm running the game with all options enabled 4xAA/16xAF at 1280x1024 perfectly fine. Never dips below 30 fps at all. Stays mostly in the 50 fps.
