Well I have put it on there.....If he disaproves ill take it off. The idea is me to create a site archived of Help for Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 9.

 

Kallisto version of FF9? What the heck is that?

 

Kalisto is a group which release somewhat different versions of games,(dunno why).
The only problem is that the modification they make to the games are preventing the game to run on emus,and since they're illegal,they're unsupported by the emu authors and emu sites(read: THIS site and its forum).

There seems to be more FF9 threads appearing... Hope this FAQ helps some newbies out.. Most of the problems in this FAQ has been dealt with and answered numerous times before.. I do agree though.. A full epsxe FAQ would be a lot more helpful.. But that would be a pretty big FAQ..

Some of the problems in this FAQ is sorta a general epsxe problem, but since a lot of people ask about it when playing FF9.. We put em in here too..

Don't worry. They will update the plugin someday. It's better to have a new release with a lot of features, improvements and bug-free than to have a quick buggy release. The authors know when there are relevant changes that deserve a new version. Anyway, their homepage is still being updated.

Wow!! Downloaded 151 times!! And it's still going.. Hey, I wonder if Ngemu will put this faq up in the FAQS section under specific games.. hehe.. There seems to be less FF9 questions too.. That's good..

I'd be willing to help out with a Online FAQ - I have 500megs of webspace and I can program php/mysql databases - in fact, we could have a online "KB" for ePSXe - which would be really cool!

Anyone else like that idea?

It could be seachable, by game, topic, or subject. We could have it so various people could add entrys.



I programmed the backend for http://jukebox.ru3.cc - which is an online source for music. (Note: the newest version isn't up, so this one has a few bugs, and the seach engine isn't working correctly yet, because I have not made the routines yet. But you can try it!)

I also did work for www.ie-ieo.com, and a few other sites.

 

hmm.. Kind of like gamefaqs, but with epsxe game FAQS.. I think it would be cool, but that's a lot of FAQS.. hehe.. Well, you can use these first FAQS for it I guess... Hopefully more people will add other Epsxe FAQS for certain games.. But that may be a while.. Plus epsxe will be getting an update and many of these current issues may have been resolved.. That means totally new FAQS for the next version of epsxe will have to be written.. That makes it a little more complicated..
