I'm not useing it on linux, but I would say u probably have to do pretty much the same thing as u have to do with windows. be a little more specific.

I have an italian PAL version of the game and Ican't find a patch........
I tried enabling subchannel read from cd but anytime I start the game the only thing I got is a black screen.....
Probably on Windows anything is ok but I don't wanna give my money to Microsoft (Mr. Gates is rich enough....)

 

D/l this patch and extract it to the patch folder in your epsxe folder.

Use pete's cdr aspi 1.10 cdr plugin and load the patch from the cdr plugin config menu. should work

 

Recca, IIRC, there isn't a patch for the Italian version of FF9, you have to use subchannel reading.

 

As lord kane has already said there isn't a ppf patch for the italian version. As your drive doesn't support sub channel reading your only hope is if someone who owns the italian version is kind enough to upload their M3s files...

 

My drive should be ok, but wich plug-in allows to use subchannel reading on linux?
