Hi , This is going my first post as I'm new here ^^

Can anybody help me please ?
I'm having a problem playing this insane game.
Any of your help would be very much appreciated.

I tried config my plugin & setting following the faq and when i started the game everything just went well.

I got very good FPS at the menu screen (around 100-120 FPS)
and when I'm in game It's around 70-80 FPS which is ok for me

I can walk around the screen , go into battle and that's where the problem occured

after 3-5 mins of playing (whether in town or battle) the screen will instantly get laggy and the FPS dropped to 50-60 and if i keep playing for around 10mins it'll drop instantly again to 30-40 , and will keep happening until I'm sick of it enough to close the emulator >_<

my laptop specs are
Intel Pentium M760 2.0Ghz
2GB DDR2 RAM
ATI Radeon X700

using pcsx2svn377.exe
on Gsdx(MSVC15.00,SSE2)0.1.8
windowed
Direct3D9(Hardware)
Interlacing : Weave bff
Log Z + Alpha correction

which I really can't figure anything out of where the problem come from since my game can run so smooth around 3-5 first mins and the FPS just dropped instantly every 5-10 mins

Thank you

laptop running outta battery?

Don't game on a laptop on battery. It reduces the GPU speed (and possibly CPU, too) when running on battery.

As for overheating, blow out the dust with compressed air from every opening. Open the laptop and blow the inside if you wish, too (look for heatsinks and fans). That helps a lot. If you don't have compressed air, vacuuming works too, just less effective, especially on deep heatsinks.

thanks everyone , but I'm using my Laptop on DC not the battery.
And i tried using CPUZ to monitor my CPU clocks

the clocks was working still on 2.00GHz even at the moment the FPS dropped and keep on its frequency without any probs

sometimes I can finish a round in story battle without FPS drop (if I'm fast enough)
but it's impossible to finish up 10 rounds in itemworld since it needs to be done in a row
(I tried and it was 15-20FPS when i reached 10st round which took me so lots of effort >_<)

how about the GPU? it can overheat, too. To monitor the CPU temperature, download Intel's TAT (Thermal Analysis Tool), and see what the temperature is when the slowdown occurs. Also, get a program to monitor GPU temperature (sorry, I don't know which program to get for that. I am a nvidia guy :)).
