hehe sorry firyace it ghz and silenus the graphisc card is Dell E173FP on Intel(R) 82865G Graphics controller and i found out in advanced was intel (R) Extreme graphisc 2(if was wrong sory i am noob for those stuff :D.)Hey firyace it that mean that i cant play on my computer?

its your graphics card. It does not have the required pixel shaders needed to run the game. Game should have checked and reported that to you instead of crashing. must be bad programming.

The emulator detected issue is probably because you have a virtual drive enabled.

well my devil may cry 3 is different. i can't see nothing when i begin to play but a black screen. except for the health bar and stylish bar, and the monster's eyes, i can't see nothing else. anybody know the solution for this?

I think that there's some sort of emulator you can use. I think they used it to play Doom 3 on, like, a voodoo.

I borrrowed got a copy of the PC from a friend to try out, So far I am not liking it compared to the PS2 version I already have. Some moves are almost impossible to pull off with a keybooard and even though I can breeze trough DMD mode on the PS2 on the PC version it's hard to pull off combos with any percision with certain weapons like nevan and since controller buttons are mostly unchangeble a controller is pointless like the Xbox360 controller forces you to use the right stick for movment instead of the left.
Loading times are longer than the PS2 version due to copyprotection and the graphics are not much better. Performance wise I noticed a few places where the framerate drops a little.

raksmey1309 did you get it to work with a gamepad? if so can you tell me how you got over the analog problem?
i got my dmc3 to work perfectly fine except the analog movements are all messed up. at first it used the right analog for movement. i fixed that with JoyToKey program. so now i can control dante with the left stick. but he still moves weird. the axis is all screwed up and even with JoyToKey i can't seem to fix it. i have a PS2 controller to USB adapter and using a PS2 controller as my gamepad. i tried calibrating and its fine.
if anyone knows of a solution, please help!

Also, as for everyone who gets a black screen when they execute the game or if it gives you an error as soon as you start it, it is your graphics card. i had a radeon 9200 and i got a black screen then an error when i tried to play dmc3. i recently upgraded to radeon x800 pro it worked with no problems. it seems weird because my computer handled call of duty2 with radeon 9200. though dmc3 looks like it doesnt really have nice graphics, it just seems to demand a nice graphics card

i figured out how to fix the controller.
for anyone who wants to fix it, get JoyToKey (google it) its in rar so unrar it and open the program. on the right side, click on "other" tab and check "Uses axes other than x and y" and "Use POV switches" then go back to "Joysticks" tab. click on auto settings wizard and type A, D, W, S in that order. i recommend changing other buttons in the game's option menu.

Though it is very hard to control compare to PS 2 controller.
