I am playing CS 1.6 on LAN. The problem is that the guys playin' with me are using cheats.I have figured it out but dont know how to stop 'em. Is there any command in the console mode which can stop 'em.They are also using auto-aim feature(Dont know how Coz the builtin auto aim in the mouse settings doesn't work). So its impossible to win sniping stages like awp_india.They start throwing tens of grenades. ..

Also They change the name of the creater of server to their desired name.....

Is there any site from where i can learn how to use cheats on cs1.6 . Coz its almost getitn' impossible to win. I would be very gratefull....

ok, well since you're on LAN, walk over to them, and go kick their ass. physically. what the hell kind of inconsiderate piece of **** *******s cheat on LAN? how old are these guys? like 11?

there is a console command (if you're the server, or if you have RCON access) to turn off auto-aim, i forget what it is at the mo, but it should be off by default....

and if you want to cheat....you sir, are a little *****. you shouldn't have to cheat to get to their level--they should be playing fair to get to your level.

everybody cheats on 1.5 and 1.6, just use cheats yourself if you want to play those versions, only way to have some kind of overall fair play

No, Not everybody cheats. Thats exactly the problem. On a public server, You can NEVER know if the person who just owned you is cheating or is just generally very good.

Anyway, Its ridicolous to cheat in a LAN party. The whole point of one of those is to have fun with your friends.. And you want to do cheating yourself? Thats a bit Retarded.

Personally I think cheating totally defeats the object of playing any game. I never cheat in online games, and offline ones only when I've already completed them and just want to explore and stuff.

Take hushypushy's advice and just go and beat them 'til they submit or die, whichever comes first is fine.
