All from Duke Nukem 3D, I never really cheat in games until after I finish them so I dont remember many. DN3d was just a game i played through multi times.

Here's a bizarre one, for Creatures 2 on the c64 - Lick your finger and rub it across joystick port 1. A giant Mouse appears on the screen waving its arms in time with the rubbing, followed by an eruption of little fuzzy creatures when the cheat activates (you have to do it for awhile). Infinite lives, for those who were wondering.

Try doing THAT on an emulator

No video sadly (my c64's long since died a nasty death), but I can confirm doing it myself any number of times successfully when I was a kid (c2 was and still is one of my favourite games). Although I did find mention of the cheat at the bottom of the game's wiki page.

Fire, Jump, Fire, Jump, Fire, Jump, Right, Start (on both P1 and P2 sides) and Left, Jump, Left, Start, Left, Fire, Left, Start (on P1 side) for Bubble Bobble...

Here's another freaky cheat: Unplug your controller from the controller port no. 1 and plug it into port no. 2 in Metal Gear Solid... for an easier battle with Psycho Mantis.

Here's a weird cheat: In MGS3, when you get to the part where you have to face off The End, simply save the game, get out, go to your PS2 BIOS config screen, turn the clock forward a few years... and then load the game. The End will die because of his old age.
