I'll post all the info I can. If you need something else, just ask.

Specs:
GeForce 8800GTS 512MB (latest drivers)
Q6600 @ 2.4 GHz
2GB of RAM
XP 32-bit SP3

It looks normal until I get control of Belmont (i.e. gameplay starts). Almost everything turns completely black. Screenshots:

As you can see, it's nearly unplayable in this state. Also, the sound is kind of meh with echoing and such. Anyway to fix it? Everything else, including FPS, is fine.

PCSX2 version:

I tried 3482 SVN and the official beta. Same problem.

Plugins:
GSdx 3454 SSSE3 (I tried some other ones, but they're worse)
SPU2-X r3475 (see above)

Speedhacks:
Doesn't make a difference either way as far as the trashy graphics are concerned. But, I have the recommended ones enabled and that's it.

What duh I duh?

Strange bug, i have the game and it works just fine here.
Instead of entering the game, let the game demo run, and see if the same problems happens.
Try setting the CPU to Interpreter.

Are you running the game from the dvd or made a ISO? Maybe it's a damaged dvd.

DX10 strikes again. This thing won't stop haunting me.

I'm too lazy to upgrade, so I'll look for an older GSdx while waiting for a fix. Thanks!

EDIT: What about the sound? This happens with most games, but the intensity varies from game to game. Any idea what's up?
