What "Playable" meens work with no problems(perfect) or just work.I have Dragonball Z Budokai 3 - SLES_527.30 and on compability say's playable then why sometimes the game freeze.Here are my setings

For video I use ZeroGS for sound -Peops for cdvd Linuzappz Iso or Peops and CPU EERec VU0rec and VU1rec

I dont think its needed to tell you what plugins I use becouse I know what I'm doing(I make a study of many emulators sega,nes,snes,psx,pcsx2.... and know what options to choose and what will hapend if I choose it.)

I haven't encountered any freezes with the game,but i havent played it extensively...although it should be stable.
I don't think you are able to know what each and every option does in all games,so try not playing it so smart and post your settings.

Bositman I have the same problem. It freezes in the Boo saga with Goku and Gohan, and in the fights in the mountains when there is dragon rush or some kind of other animation like that, otherwise stable. My specs:
AMD X2 3800+ , 1024 MB DDR 2 600MHZ RAM, Galaxy Geforce 7600 Gt 256 MB, 300 GB HD

or If I choose GSdx9(3.jpg sorry for this I'm not at home and an this pc... no PS)

The game freeze sometimes when I try to use finishing attacks

Hmm that's interesting,can you provide a memcard save before that point? If it happens here too,we will class the game as "ingame" status and maybe we could debug it

Hmmm I read zole's post but this time carefuly and yea I have sometimes problems in that points "when there is dragon rush or some kind of other animation like that" the game freeze sometimes at the begining of some kind of animation

I´ve played Budokai 3 a lot and that problem has something to do with the Vu1rec option and with the Dualcore options.
After disabling them the game will freeze somewhere else but you can pass the freezes in the Dragonrush and other similiar Points of the game like the beginnig of the Buu Saga when you play with Goku.
Sometimes I had to turn Vu0rec off,too. I'm not sure if that really helped but it seemed to me thar way:eyemove:
I've only tested it on my Computer so I'm not TOTALY sure whether this is a sollution for everyone.

A Warning here: The FPS will decrease when you turn this options off so you will
need a lot of patience.

try this configs in the zip file end there is a memcart in it what has passt all crashes (game is almost playd out)..

Dinadan was right it's a dual core and V0rec problem, without them it's playable.

Guys i finished to play dbz budokai 3 right now and i didn't have any type of problem...The only tinh is that you have to have a dual shock joypad to play story game...I use the same plugins than CheatMaster.
