Well I sort of can't blame her. I mean she probably just has a boyfriend who's set up a PC for her and tucked away the tower (like a lot of people do) so all she knows about the PC is the screen.

yeah but this is too extreme Vanit. She doesn't even understand what inside means, and denies any attempt at telling her what inside means or what the difference between the screen and the actual computer is. it's like she's living in a 2D world...

In a way I think you are right Vanit for not blaming her but in another....

I think this is just a way for her to hide her ignorance. This is typical.

She's lost and panicked but want to show that she anyway controls the situation. She also doesn't want to show she's weak in computer's domain. Because for her that is weakness to recognize that she's completely not knowledgeable in and doesn't know anything about a PC.

And what is the best way to show that you control the situation? Simply trying to impose your point of view at your interlocutor, even if you are completely wrong, what she obviously does. And how to impose it? Simply by attacking him. So he will more concentrate on her attacks than on her "weakness".

This is pathetic. I think she suffer of a inferiority complex at least for domains where she doesn't know nothing.
