anyway to get Monster Rancher 2 to work with ePSXe????

just found this game again at EB, and my kids refused to leave the store without it (my 4 year old loves the monsters) and i thought it was a damned cool idea of how they got the monsters (by reading info off of different CDs)

only problem is, when i go to the shrine to get me a CD monster, i can get monster rancher to get the data (i use the CD switch option to force monster rancher 2 to read the data) but when i reinsert the monster rancher 2 CD again to continue, it hangs, or tells me i need to reinsert the CD

ive tried making a ISO of MR2, or a ISO of the game i wanna pull a monster from, etc. nothign i found can make it work

any workaround/hack/pluig in, etc i can do/get to make this game work? my kids kinda ruined thier PSx, and id hate to go buy another just for this ONE game

ePSXe 1.5 has CD Switch problem...

I found several problem while playing this game..
1. when u create monster from DISK STONE.... u *must* do this...
hit X button till it says INSERT CD .....
then hit ESC, then change CD, then klik CHANGE CDROM from ePSXe, then klik OK..
it will return to the game... and then.. hit X button *JUST* till it says INSERT UR MONSTER RANCHER 2 CD...
*** DONT EVER EVER hit until it says REINSERT MONSTER RANCHER 2 CD.... *********
Otherwise.. it will allways say that even u insert the right CD..

U can use ISO ones... the is no problem too..

2. When u have clear EXPEDITION, it seems hang.. with black screen.. BUT IT DONT...
Maybe bug from the emulator.. but when U wait about 5-10 minutes.. the games will continue ..

Just that all..

O ya... Using pete soft GPU is OKAY to..

U just must *NOT HIT X BUTTON TILL IT SAYS
"REinsert...."
just till it says "INSERT..."

i did break down however, and paid the kid next door 20$ for his spare PSX so my kids could play it without hogging my PC

im gonna continue to play MR2 on ePSXe however, cause ive got one badd a$$ mochi (mo-chi?) growing up right now

anyway to get Monster Rancher 2 to work with ePSXe????
