2: thats easy, doesnt even have any filling/spilling... all you gotta do is pour a full five litres into the 5L one, pour all that into the 6L one, then pour another 5 in to the 5L one

Step 3: = 2x + 6
Step 4: = x + 3
Step 5: = 3.

Basically nearly every action you have taken is negated in a later step

ok i will do the tick in another way:
Think of a number.
multiply it by two.
Add 8
divide it by 2.
subtract the number you thought.
you have 4.

 

?? it´s the same thing, you just changed the numbers, but as betamax said in the first one you just add then subtract later, x2 then /2 , add 8 then divide by half , when you take your number out all that´s left is half of 8 which is 4.

Choose a no BETWEEN 1 and 10. Multiply by 9. You should now have a 2 digit no. Add thouse digits together, ie if your no is 17 then 1+ 7 = 8. Subtract 5 from that no. Now lets swicth to the alphabet. A = 1, B = 2 etc... get the letter represented by your no. Finally think of a country beginning with that letter.
