Yeah you're right! mario64 runs 25fps in uhle while it runs ~60 in pj64 with sound. i think if i had a voodoo2 i'd get full speed, but the glide wrapper is just giving your pc more work to do. Unlike in pj64 or 1964, it has d3d support, and therefore the cpu doesn't need to change anything, thus, LESS work ;)
Though I agree that native d3d should be much better but I am not sure that current d3d plugins are the best they can achieve (they need a lot of improvements).

Suprahle is faster than either pj64 or 1964 even with a gildewrapper (evoodoo rocks).

Though I can get almost full speeds in both 1964 and pj64 but I still prefer suprahle for the supported games coz gameplay is much more smooth there.

If evoodoo can improve just a little bit (there are graphic glitches with some games) than its definitely a better bet until unless they improve d3d plugins for N64(they all lack in one or the other departments).
 
You can buy an adapter to connect your N64 controller to your USB port.
 
Online, yes. You can find them in some shops, however.
