Thats a nice tablet.

I wanted the Shield tv but was out of my price range. I got the Nexus Player instead and it has worked good with the tv in the living room.
It's definitely the best Android tablet i've ever had in my hands and is definitely really fast and super smooth. The only thing i really dislike about this tablet is the power/volume buttons which have zero feedback. Oh, and before i forget the tablet doesn't even have a charger in the box.... apart from that game streaming works nicely and even the cracked PS4 Remote Play app works great too and far better than i expected.

Actually i've seen some pretty awesome ones in Grid as well.
I have seem some but never like that one...

That's like the most awesome crash i've ever seen in a racing game.
I also disagree with Rocket League being considered a racing game, but the video you posted actually made me chuckle. The vehicles seemed weightless and it made the crash look a tiny bit silly.
I personally like heavy crashes, where you feel the weight of the vehicles bearing down on each others.

Agree that is not perfect but it does look great for a real racing simulator. I said Rocket League because i'm still shocked that is being considered a racing game and to complete the combo win in that category.

Let's Play!

.......copyright infringement notification.

Why not trademark "NETWORK NOT AVAILABLE" or something like that as it would make more sense taking in count their shitty network. At least they could send take down notifications to those complaining when their crap of network is down almost every week or so.

Let's not.
...wait, maybe I can trademark that.

In fact Codies are masterful at vehicle damage and crashes. The crash in that video looks cool (definately the best Forza crash I've seen) but I think I've seen better overall.

Opportunity for me to spam a few oldies. They're not realistic though:

crash enhancer in GP2:

weird crash in NFS Porsche:

friend of mine then managed to outdo it easily:

Sony really needs to revamp its legal team and customer service. Their PR team are probably losing their collective minds. It's really a problem with upper management.
Actually i'm not surprised at all as Sony is doing great this generation so they simply turned into.... Sony the ones that turn into arrogant idiots when success knock their doors.

EA is bringing "Origin Access" to PC, previously was on console.
You pay 5$ a month to get access to every game in "the vault" + you get a time-limited trial (extended demo) on other games.
You also get 10% off every purchase you make.

It's not a terrible deal. It's an optional way to explore EA's library and choose which games you'd like to keep. The 10% off can also be useful before making multiple purchases, or simply buying a game at release (60$).

My problem with Origin Access is that it is slowly eroding customer rights.

By moving from a "ownership" model to a "rental" model where your ability to play games is subject to more and more control of the publisher. Already we've lost rights in not having choice over whether games or clients are updated or not, and various other DRM related issues. You don't even "own" your library of games, you are forbidden from selling your account. And Origin Access further reduces your rights.

So I hope it fails, as if it is successful they could use subtle ploys, such as better versions for subscribers, to undermine the rights of non-subscribers.

Videogames are becoming disposable. People aren't even playing all the games they have licenses to access. How many people buy bundles wanting every game in the bundles?

How many of us have a backlog on Steam or another platform where we'd have to abstain from buying video games for a year and even then we'd hardly make a dent in the backlog?

I was surprised, and disappointed, when Penny Arcade posted there was no reason to buy a physical game on the 3DS. They don't seem to care about playing games down the line, I guess.

At least Sony let me transfer most of my digital games from the PSP to Vita. I don't see that happening on the XBOX One/PS4 and future systems. I doubt the Wii U will have games playable on the next Nintendo console, or the system after the 3DS.

Frag, I'm still playing DS games on my 3DS. I keep 6 in my 3DS case to play when I'm on the go. I have 6 3DS games in the case as well.

I know many people watch the super bowl, and that it reaches a global audience, but really? football fans and Pokemon?

I'd think those addicted to Pokemon already have their wallets open, and aren't watching football. :p
