Today i created a new account to test and Play KI called "AruPlatanoPower" which is very dominican lol. My plan was simply to test how fast you can turn into a killer Level after my wife's insane record last week and to see how hard the Levels are this days and most specially since the recent changes. I noticed that the road to turn into a simple "GOLD" Level master is insanely hard for those with Little experience and i find it a bit unfair. It wasn't an issue for me since i already have some experiences but if i have Little experience the road is rough.

During matches you meet Gold Level Players and as if that was all you meet killer Level Players making the process even harder. No wonder People build a lot of Level before turning into Killers. During my test something unexpected happened. While playing ranking matches and getting Close to the Killer Level i got to face the #1 killer of the world who is known at EVO. He knows who i am but since i was using my new account "AruPlatanoPower" he didn't recognized me. At first i was a Little out of ideas how to build a good strategy to beat him since the dude is a beast and to make things even worse he mastered Orchid like nobody else. The star beside his nick represents his professional Level after winning so many fights and also turning into the #1 killer Player.

All i thought was try to do my best and see if i can build a strategy during the match because honestly i didn't had any. Here is what happened:

By far the hardest Opponent i ever had since i started to Play Killer Instinct and to see me win against such a great Player was something i didn't expected. I hope i can meet him again in online matches and see how is going to end next time.

great match.

congrats.
Indeed, the funny part of the match isn't even the fight itself but the fact that my wife actually cooked a fried plantain with "Salami" for me and i was eating plantain during the match lol!!! Platano Power???? i think so :) that's also the reason why i choosed that gamertag :p

I'll get an Xbone when it's price drops again? :p
I think the price is going to be reduced again as MS is still making profits out of it. They need more sales and great deals and if they reduce the price a bit and offer the Gears or war remake bundled i think it could sell like hot cakes. But yeah... a price drop is very likely i believe.

streams both ways? it's quite unique in that then. Receiving is kind of difficult (not impossible, difficult) even on Windows.
They have been working to stream XB1 games to all devices running Windows 10 and they said to be working the other way too meaning all devices can receive Content. As far as i know the Miracast app is part of the plan but to support devices other than those running Windows. Sadly enough iOS devices aren't supported since Apple themselves locked the System to there own devices.

So apparently Valve wasn't happy to have just one bad idea this spring so they decided to make another! Now they gave banning rights to game devs, meaning that game developers can now ban you from playing your games that they've made.

While the purpose is make banning multiplayer trolls faster, there is apparently no need for the devs to show any proof of your misconduct as the decision is theirs and theirs only. Meaning they can effectively ban you if you write a negative review or just complain about the game, and there certainly are devs that will totally do that. It is still uncertain if the ban would restrict only multiplayer or singleplayer gaming as well, if it affects single player we can expect another shitstorm heading for Valve.

Game Developers Can Now Ban Steam Users

In a move that’s bound to yield some very interesting results, Valve just announced that it was changing the way it administers bans on its ridiculously popular gaming service Steam. Rather than adjudicating the entire process on its own, the company is effectively handing over power to individual game developers.

Here’s how Valve explained the way things will work going forward in a small post (via MCV) on the Steam community. Pay close attention to how the statement describes Valve’s role in the new banning process (emphasis added):

Because nobody likes playing with cheaters.

Playing games should be fun. In order to ensure the best possible online multiplayer experience, Valve allows developers to implement their own systems that detect and permanently ban any disruptive players, such as those using cheats.

Game developers inform Valve when a disruptive player has been detected in their game, and Valve applies the game ban to the account. The game developer is solely responsible for the decision to apply a game ban. Valve only enforces the game ban as instructed by the game developer.

For more information about a game ban in a specific game, please contact the developer of that game.

Game developers are “solely responsible for the decisions to apply a game ban.” So while Valve still has to apply the actual bans, the company’s description makes it sound like doing so will be a completely automated process—i.e., not one that’s subject to any review by Steam employees. They just follow the instructions put forth by the game developer.

That will likely be a good thing in cases where a game developer has a more intimate understanding of its community and the way ban-worthy players inside of it behave than Valve does. But will every game developer use its newfound permabanning powers responsibly?

Valve’s statement on its developer-centered banning policy is so sparse that some important questions remain unanswered. Such as: whether or not this only applies to online multiplayer games, how players will be able to appeal bans, and what the extent of a permaban ban will be—i.e., for a specific game, or a gamer’s entire Steam account and game library. Valve representatives weren’t available for comment at press time.

* Facepalm *. The WORST idea of the year.
I guess regular mods are not paid ? Huh ?

Oups. I read the article and your post again. It concers game ban and not forums. Pfiou.

Well, I don't really see the problem then...

If its about game banning (from what i've read multiplayer ingame bans) and not actual forum bans i don't see a problem either, if it is exploitable, i.e. making a forums thread/post the devs don't like that can get you banned from the game as well it is a horrible move however.
